Bretonnian-speaking ghost in the castle

Released from its imprisonment

During the revolt against the Montmiraille, the besiegers of the castle realised that no response was coming from the defenders anymore. When they finally broke in, they only found corpses, but also that the castle was now haunted by murderous ghosts. Bretonnian words were heard from them. It is generally believed that the Bretonnian garrison and the count committed suicide because they had lost hope of overcoming the revolt and preferred death to the ignominy of surrender. The township has been subsequently unable to get rid of the ghost infesting the castle and has abandoned its primary place of defence.
